Bubble Duel (Balonatmaca) · Last updated: 1 November 2026 · Türkçe
Bubble Duel is a short online game in which two players throw water balloons at each other. This page explains what information is collected while you play, why, and how it can be deleted. In short: we keep the least information needed to run the game and we do not sell your data. The mobile app shows ads: a rewarded ad you can choose to watch to save a lost streak, and occasional full-screen ads between matches (see "Ads" below). The web version has no ads.
Information we collect
| Information | Why |
|---|---|
| Game account ID: your Google Play Games or Apple Game Center player ID. When you play as a guest on the web, a random ID created for your device (only its hash is stored). | To recognise you the next time you sign in and keep your streak. |
| The nickname the game gives you automatically (e.g. "Swift Eagle 42") and your friend code. | So other players can see you in matches, on the leaderboard and in friend lists. You do not type your name; your real name is never asked. |
| Game statistics: streak, best streak, wins/losses, fair-play shields and any penalty period. | For matchmaking, the leaderboard and fair-play rules. |
| Match records: who played whom, the winner, the duration and spectators' match-fixing reports. | To work out match results and detect deliberately stretched matches. |
| In-game usage records: events such as opening the game, match results, creating a room, watching and tutorial steps, with their times; which platform you play on (web, Android, iOS), where you first came from (e.g. a shared link, a campaign name or the install source reported by Google Play) and the country you first connected from (a two-letter code from our network provider; your IP address is not stored). | To understand how the game is played and improve it (e.g. how many people play a second match). They are tied to your account and deleted with it; they are not used for ads or shared. |
| App usage measurement (Android app): Google Analytics for Firebase records a few moments of play: opening the app for the first time, finishing the tutorial, your first and third match; with an app instance ID, the device model and system version, an approximate location derived from the IP address and, where you allowed it, the advertising ID. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom this starts only after you agree in Google's consent screen. | To see which of our ad campaigns bring people who actually play, so our ads reach people likely to enjoy the game. Google processes it for us and keeps it for 2 months; it is not combined with your game account. You can turn it off with "Privacy options" on your profile (EEA / UK). |
| If you allowed notifications (Android app): your phone's notification ID (a Firebase Cloud Messaging token), time zone and app language. | To tell you when a friend adds you, and to remind you the evening after a day you played; at most 1 a day, never between 22:00 and 10:00. Google Firebase Cloud Messaging delivers them for us. Turn them off with "Notifications" in your profile or in your phone's settings; the ID is deleted with your account. |
| Your friend list. | So you can open rooms and play with your friends. |
| Your IP address. | So players on the same Wi-Fi can see each other's rooms. It is not written to the game database; it is kept in memory only while you are connected. It may stay briefly in the server's access logs for security. |
What we do not collect
- Your real name, email address, phone number, precise location or contacts.
- Chat or messages: there is no messaging in the game, only preset emoji reactions.
Ads
In the Android and iOS app there are two kinds of ads, both from Google AdMob: a rewarded ad you can choose to watch once a day to save a long streak you lost, and occasional full-screen ads between matches against random opponents (none in your first 2 matches, then at most one after every 3rd match and 6 a day; never during a match, never in friend rooms and not after a rewarded ad). There are no ads in the web version. Ads are served by Google AdMob. To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, AdMob collects the following directly from your device: IP address (for an approximate location), advertising ID and app set ID, your interaction with the ad (views, taps) and diagnostics. This information does not reach our server and is not combined with your game account. How Google uses it: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, Google's consent screen is shown before ads; you can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the "Privacy options" button on your profile in the app.
Camera
Camera permission is asked only when you scan a QR code to add a friend or join a room. The image is processed on your device; it is not saved or sent to the server.
Sharing
We do not sell your information, and we do not share information tied to your game account for advertising. To run the game we use these services: Google Play Games and Apple Game Center (sign-in), Google AdMob (ads, above), Google Analytics for Firebase (app usage measurement, above), Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (notifications), Cloudflare (delivering the connection securely and quickly) and the data centre that hosts our game server. Connections are encrypted (HTTPS).
Retention and deletion
Your information is kept for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and all information tied to it at any time: tap your player card in the game and choose Delete my account, and it is deleted immediately. If you cannot reach the app, use the email route on the Delete your account page; the request is completed within 30 days.
Age
Bubble Duel is for players aged 13 and up. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13; if we notice such an account, we delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the current version is published on this page with a new date.
